How to Use Candle Sand

Candle sand is granulated wax. You pour it into a heat-safe vessel, insert a wick, and light it. There is no mould, no melting, no waiting.

Fill your vessel to around two centimetres below the rim. Press the wick into the centre until it stands upright and let the sand settle around it.

When the wick burns down, remove the stub, level the surface and add a new wick. The same jar of sand can make dozens of candles, in whichever vessel suits the room that season.
