Our story
We began with one candle and a stubborn idea about beautiful everyday things.
Nuvè started in a small Accra studio, pouring candles for friends who kept asking where they could buy one. What grew from that was less a candle company than a house of objects — fragrance, sculpture, décor and gifting, made for the way people here actually live and celebrate.
We make in small batches, by hand, because it lets us be particular. Every piece is poured, cured, sanded, checked and packed by a person. That's slower. It's also the whole point.
Craft
How it's made
Wax
Natural soy and coconut-soy blends, phthalate-free fragrance, cotton and wooden wicks.
Jesmonite
Hand-mixed, pigmented and poured in small batches, then sanded and sealed by hand.
Packaging
Ribbed boxes, silk ribbon and a handwritten card — recyclable wherever possible.
